hummusmole with roti prataCreamy, delicious, and super easy to prepare! Hummusmole is the fusion of two very popular dips: hummus, a Middle Eastern classic high in fiber and protein, and guacamole, a Mexican specialty high in vitamins and healthy fat.

The extraordinary nutritional value of the garbanzo beans and tahini (sesame paste) blended with the freshness of avocados, cilantro, and lime juice make an fabulous dip ideal for any occasion!

Serve with pita bread, tortilla chips, crackers, breadsticks, roti, flat bread, or French baguette. Accompany  with veggie platters or fresh green salads. Hummusmole is also great as spread for sandwiches and wraps!


  • 1 can of garbanzo beans
  • 1 big avocado (or 2 small ones)
  • 1 tablespoon of tahini (sesame paste)
  • 1 diced garlic clove
  • 1 diced green onion
  • 1 juiced lemon
  • 1 juiced lime
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Food processor or blender

For a good kick, garnish with diced jalapeño and chopped cilantro!

→ In a bowl or a blender puree the garbanzo beans with a few tablespoons of their water, the avocado, tahini, garlic, onion, olive oil, and the freshly squeezed juice of the lemon and lime. Add some salt and pepper and blend until you reach a creamy and uniform dip.

Garnish with chopped cilantro and diced jalapeño (or diced red or green bell pepper), and serve with tortilla chips, pita bread, roti, crackers, or/and a veggie plate.
